Synopsis

The Spanish Connection shows the possible link between Spain and the terrorist attacks in New York on September 11th, 2001. Mohamm Atta, the pilot who crashed into the North Tower of the WTC, visited Spain 56 days prior to the deadly events.

The documentary provides a complete reconstruction of Atta's visit to Spain, with interviews with key people he contacted while in the country, including the flight instructor who trained him.

The Spanish Connection demonstrates that it is highly probable that more terror attacks will occur in the future, and in other relevant cities across the world. Mediaset reporters will go far and beyond the investigation, and challenge the security measures in various high-traffic airports.
