MALABO BARRIO X
Bioko is a small island located in Guinea’s gulf and Malabo the biggest city of the island, where a group of young boys live looking for their identity. Their search is developed in the deep Africa, among the new global technologies and the inquiring look of a dictatorship.
All these factors are the daily landscape of their lives. Hip Hop appears as a salvation table. It’s their way of communicating, of surviving in a situation of marginality where they need tools to cry their distress, their worries and their dreams…
