The Criminal Police, with the help of a Spanish investigator, quickly conclude that a serial killer is at large in Lisbon, inspired by the notorious 19th Century “Aqueduct Assassin,” Diogo Alves.
Just as the police seem close to solving the case, a turn of events reveals that the psychopath is still on the loose, now driven by a personal vengeance.
