In early 1990s Portugal, Tomé Serpa is a celebrated and ambitious architect, admired publicly but hiding a dark secret: he films his sexual encounters without consent. Married to Isabel, from an old-money family, and father to two teenagers, Tomé’s perfect life begins to unravel when his mistress, Carolina, discovers the truth.

Betrayed, she joins forces with Elsa, Tomé’s secretary, to expose him before the grand opening of his latest project, a modern shopping center. While Carolina seeks his total ruin, Elsa hopes only for his repentance. Bound by a shared desire to protect his victims, the women race against time to bring down a man who believes himself untouchable.
