INSPECTOR MAX

After years of collaboration with the Criminal Investigation Department of the Judicial Police, the old dog Inspector Max retired. But not without having fathered a litter of puppies, one of which was adopted by the Mendes family. They chose the one that most resembled his father and named him Max Junior.

In ten years, the family underwent major changes. Jorge Mendes, the inspector who owned the original Max, married Joana, a young and brilliant lawyer, with whom he had a son named Manuel, now 8 years old.

Jorge and Joana have an affectionate, complicit and loving relationship, even joking about the relative age difference that separates them. However, their respective professions will place them on opposite sides at times, as Joana represents as a lawyer clients accused by the department headed by Jorge.

Inspector Max is the prequel to the well-known series of the same name.
